He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Scott and Beatrice Scott; his wife Barbara Ann Scott; and his siblings, Ronald Scott Sr., Maxine Scott and Joyce Austin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nina Burruss (Richard) of Claymont, DE and Renea Scott-Penn (Denzil) of Middletown, DE.; his grandchildren, Austin Hill, Denzil Penn III, Dassan Penn and Brianna Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara C. Scott, Geraldine Cvengross, Janice Thomas, Sheila Pritchett Murray and Harold Pritchett (Vanessa Goodwyn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to Covid concerns, services will be private for family, and close friends only.
