He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Bowser and Evalyn Gill (Sollenberger); his siblings, Sam Bowser, Earl Bowser and Helen Vansant; his stepfather Winfred Gill; and his son-in-law Paul Elvey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Bowser (Leach); his children, Tammy Elvey, George Bowser, Jr. and William Bowser (Roxanne); and his siblings, Clinton Bowser (Mary), Paul Bowser (Jane) and Ethel Breakiron. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
