It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Chapman of Newark, Delaware, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on April 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Chapman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Wahneta; and his brother Doug (Mary Ann). He is survived by: his daughter Tara (Rich); his wife Sandy; his son Gary "Chip" Arlen Jr. (Kim); and his grandchildren, AJ, Carly, Leah, Alexa and Logan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart and Lung Association.
