She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Roney and Louise Roney (Edwards); her husband Clarence James Stewart, Jr.; and her siblings, Isdora Wilson, Marion Jones, Evelyn Turner, Frances Roney and Oliver Roney (Dooney).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Murray (Charles), Clarence James Stewart III, Brian Stewart and Karan Stewart; her siblings, Catherine Brown (Ollie), Princess Jones (Vandy), Joyce Johnson (James), Floyd Roney (Elaine) and Edna Brown (Charlie); and her grandchildren, Andre, Sheree, Monique, Anthony, Errick and Brandy. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
