We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022, at the age of 64, Elena J. Kirk of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Taylor and Julia Taylor (Winewski); her husband Stanley Kirk; and her siblings, Jenny Cloud and George Williams.
She is survived by: her son Charles Hodgson (Jennifer); her sisters, Sharron Harkins (Steve) and Julia Martin; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Nally and Nancy Bentley; her caregiver Amanda Perdue; her nephews, Red Miller and Joseph Meritt; and her grandchildren, Emma Hodgson, Olivia Hodgson, Autumn Hodgson and Charles J. Hodgson.
Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elena's memory to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, or to COVID-19 Research.
