She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Smith and Eva Smith; her siblings-in-law, Rev. Willis and Annie May Dewberry; her brother Bill Smith; her siblings-in-law, Gerry (Harrison), Nancy, Gordon (Harrison) and David; and her son-in-law Curtis Shifflett.

She is survived by: her husband Bill; and her children, Chris Shifflett, Steve (Christine) and Dee Whalen. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dot's memory to the Ogletown Baptist Church Choir Fund and directed to church at the address listed above.
