We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2024, at the age of 87, Doris A. Gordon of Newark, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Wesley Gordon Sr. (Chuck); her parents, Freda Appeld (Nehring) and Rudolph Appeld; and her siblings, Freda Fournier (Appeld), Emily Gifford (Appeld), Rudolph Appeld and Linda Appeld.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wesley Gordon Jr. (Pat), Andrew Gordon (Randi), Theresa (Gordon), Assante (Anthony), Keren (Gordon), Cinzio (Ken), Ruth Gordon and Debra Gordon (Tara). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Newark Senior Center Newark, DE.
