With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E. Crompton of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Crompton and Helen Haines Crompton; and his brother John Crompton of Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shrieves Crompton; his sons, Scott M. Crompton of St. Paul and Jeffrey D. Crompton of Newark, Delaware; his grandson Renny; his sisters, Sandra (Bill Narcisso) of Chapel Hill and Joanne (Dick Grove) of Peoria, Arizona; his sister-in-law Suzanne Crompton of Mt. Pleasant; and his aunt Eileen Haines of Newport, Delaware. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
