He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lutte and Anna Lutte (Wagner); his wife Patricia Ann Lutte (Powell); his son Timothy W. Lutte; and his brother Ron Lutte.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara Averell (John) and Karen Justison (Johnny); his grandchildren, Lauren Gates (Jack), Katharine Averell (Melissa) and Brooke Justison (David); and his great grandchild Gwendolyn Gates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
