With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David W. Smyth of Newark, Delaware, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Phillip and Gladys Smyth (Pancoast); and his former wife Sandra Smyth (Skinter). He is survived by: his fiancée Deb Bettle; his sisters, Carol Masulonis of Bradenton, FL and Claire Zazitski of Bradenton, FL; his children, Sheryl Snedeker (Joey) of St. Georges, David W. Smyth (Sandra) of Hockessin and Cesar Herrera (Alexandra) of Newark; and his grandsons, Nicholas, David, Timothy, James and Joseph III.
