She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Maragia (Judy Lord) and Kwame Lord (Gary); her adoptive daughters, Bobbett, Teresa and Kima; her grandchildren, Andre, Maya, Mokeira, Kemunto, Angie, Naomi, Gianna, William, Abigail, Brielle, Alan and Shemane (Baby); her great grandchildren, Noel, Isabelle, Makenna, LeAndre, Khaleel and Jahmere; her siblings, Lyndon O. Barton Jr., Olive Best, Glenfield Barton and Fitz Fraser; her nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Loren, Carol, Leon, Sharon, Orin, Roshawn, Brian, Faye, Jean, Gem, Oslen, Osiric, Marilyn and Kwesi; her children-in-law, Rhonda Lord and Bosire Maragia; and her cousins, Pam Roland, Cinty Bacchus, Claire, Aubrey, Poly, Cheryl, Monica and Lynn Stewart.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Pilgrim Baptist Church (1325 Barksdale Rd, Newark, DE 19711). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
