He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Jones, Sr. and Wanda Jones (Price); his son Steveland Cooke; his sisters, Sharon Jones and Synthia Johnson; his children, Charles Jones III (Crystal) of Newark, Kevin L. Jones of New Castle, Sereba Henry of New Castle, Tzair Spencer of Wilmington and Lamisha Woods-Thomas (Harry) of Covington, GA; his siblings, Evette Jones of New Castle, Carmela Williams (Maurice) of New Castle, Harold Jones (Cheryl) of Wilmington and Armenthia Jones of Wilmington; his grandson Charles Dayquon Strother of Atlanta, GA; and his former wives, Lorraine Jones of New Castle and Mary Jones of New Castle. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family requests that face masks be worn by all in attendance, regardless of vaccination status. Interment will be held privately.
