He was predeceased by: his father Charles Henry; his brother-in-law William F. Lawler; and his pets, Khaki, Heidi and Midnight.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ruth Spicer, Jr. (Hendericks); his wife Betty Jane Spicer; his children, Ryan Spicer (Brittany), Samantha Spicer (Jeff Mato), Elizabeth Keller (MSgt Gavin Sr.) and Robert Harvilla; his siblings, Sandra Biggers and Robert Spicer (Carlena); his siblings-in-law, Diane Lawler, Barbara Chance (Nancy Mann) and Richard Chance (Deborah); his mother-in-law Hattie Chance; his grandchildren, Maverick Mato, Kiernan Spicer, Emerson Mato, Gavin Keller Jr., McKenzie Keller, Robert Harvilla III and Isabella Harvilla; his close friend Ronald Edwards; his pets, Tigger and Belle; and also Carol Cole. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
