She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Halfen Sr.; her son Raymond Halfen, Sr.; her parents, Earl Edwards and Mildred Edwards; and her siblings, Doris Woolsey, Virginia Defibaugh, Fredrick Edwards Jr., Cathleen Edwards, David Edwards, Sr. and Kenneth Edwards.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Halfen (Errin), Valerie Halfen and Steven Halfen (Kimberly); her daughter-in-law Gininne Halfen; her siblings, Bill Edwards and Denise Hall; her grandchildren, Erin, Ray Jr., Kelly, Michael, Amy, Grace and Madeline; and her great grandchildren, Kendall, Teagan and Beckham.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. James Episcopal Church (2 S Augustine St, Newport, DE 19804, USA). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Episcopal Church (2 S Augustine St, Newport, DE 19804, USA).
