He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Carey (Wright) and George Russell Carey; and his wife Doris Louise Carey. He is survived by: his children, Carlton (Carl), James Carey (Jim) and Tammy Lea Amos; his grandchildren, Christopher and Jessica Carey; his great grandchildren, Tabitha, Catherine, Violet, Isiah, Nathaniel Carey and Olivia Goodwin; his sister Ruth Hollett; and his nephew William Carey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
