In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Broc Charles had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Broc Charles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, U. Grant Ewell and Edythe J. Ewell (Scott); and his brother Gregg. He is survived by: his brothers, Scott Ewell of Jupiter, FL and David Ewell (Fran) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; his nephew John Ewell of Somerset, NJ; and also Jerilyn Loria of Oradell, NJ. He is also survived by cousins and good friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard & Jones, Inc. (122 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard and Jones, Inc. (122 W Main St, Newark, DE 19711). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the White Clay Creek Cemetery.

The family is requesting no flowers but would appreciate you considering donations in his name to organizations focused on protecting our oceans and sea life, such as oceana.org, oceanconservancy.org, or sealifetrust.org, or to a charity dear to you.

“I will miss you deeply, Broc. You came into my life after our 48th Class reunion. Thank you for being there for me and sharing you loving and giving soul. Loved sharing Chincoteague together and North Carolina together. You were an amazing fisherman. My sincere condolences to his friends and family. I unfortunately will not be able to attend his services. I have a fractured vertebrae and am unable to travel that distance. Thank you to his close friend Reese for letting me know.”
