Smith (Newark, Delaware), born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ritchie Smith; and his son Jeff. He is survived by: his brothers, Sam and John; his children, Gary (David) and Nancy (Paula); his daughter-in-law Lisa; his grandchildren, Kristen (Bill), Kathryn of Elizabeth, A. J., Jack, Mackenzie and Madison; and his great grandchild Liam.
A private graveside service will be held, and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Newark United Methodist Church" and sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
