It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Theodore Strickland of New Castle, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore Strickland, Sr. and Vera Virginia Strickland (Matous). He is survived by: his wife Holly Strickland; his children, Jessica Strickland, William Strickland, Jr. (Lisa) and Wesley Strickland; his grandchildren, Aedan Strickland, Andrea Cleaver, Andrew Cleaver, Mark Robinson, Cameron Robinson and Caleb Strickland; and his siblings, Charles Strickland and Brenda Ciconte (Thomas).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilmington Christian School in Hockessin Delaware, in honor of William's legacy of service and dedication to education.
