Rawley (New Castle, Delaware), born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Calhoun Rawley and Marie Johnson; his brother Fred Johnson; his son Thomas A. Rawley; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Delia Ballock; and also Vincent Spivey.

He is survived by: his friends, Virgil "Jack" Franklin, Reggie Lacefield, Kermit Brooks and John Shehee; his children, Kelly Evans (Joseph), Kimberly Bush (Harry) and Sebrina Rawley; his grandchildren, Bria Evans, Tobais Evans, Trinity Evans, Demarques Coleman, Bre'Anna Bush, Myranda Rawley, Shannon Rawley, Gerard Smith, Nathaniel Smith and Imani Robinson; his great grandchildren, Ramirez Thomas Rawley Strickland and Ronan Quincy Rawley Strickland; his godchildren, Evette Tucker, Reggie Lacefield, Jr. and Ernest C. Ballock; his siblings-in-law, Denise Ballock, LaTanya Ballock and Chalanc "Shawn" Bennett (Carvette); his caregiver Joann Madric (Derek); and also, Drew, Alicia Willey, Dave, Ronnie Williams, Ernie Green and Sidney Lewison.
