He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge I. Childers and Thomasine Smith; and his son Talmadge Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Gregory and Theresa Childers; his wife Geraldine; his daughters, Shana Childers and Ebony Ambrose; his son-in-law Ted Ambrose; his siblings, Sherri White, T. Valorie Childers, Odessa Childers and Darryl Childers; his sister-in-law Celestine Ford-Childers (Yvonne Mitchell); and his grandchildren, Briana Robinson and Zariah Ambrose. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
