She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartley May and Thelma May (Greer); her husband James L. McKinney, Sr.; and her children, James L. McKinney, Jr. and Delores A. McKinney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Haggerty (William) and Darlene Elliott-Denton; her aunt Ollie Paisey; and her sister Ruby Lopatin. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
