She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Evelyn Tyler, Jr. (Moore); her husband Thomas Dempsey, Jr.; and her brother Frank Tyler. She is survived by: her children, Karen Wilson (Thomas) of Jacksonville, NC, Susan Duncan (Michael) of Middletown, Steven Dempsey (Deborah) of New Castle, Paul Dempsey (Theresa) of Middletown and Barbara Shirey (Mark) of Humble, TX; and her sisters, Janet Dill (George) of Hockessin and Evelyn Dempsey of New Castle. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
