Margaret C. Fortinper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret C. Fortinper of New Castle, Delaware, who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Fanning (Richmond) and William Fanning; her stepfather Stanley Boris Sr.; her husband Charles D. Fortinper Sr.; and her son Dominick Fortinper.
She is survived by: her children, Charles D. Fortinper, Sr. (Katherine Inge) of Midlothian, VA and Kathleen F Winnington of New Castle, DE; her granddaughters, Kimberly Winnington (Blaine Eres), Renee Fortinper (Lauren) and Vicki Nellans; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Reagan and Riley; and her brother Stanley "Butch" Boris Jr.. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Margaret's name to Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 12 Winder Rd, New Castle, DE 19720, or The Seeing Eye, P.O Box 375, Morristown, NJ 07963 (seeingeye.org).
