We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 90, Julia Elizabeth Burnett of New Castle, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sturdivant and Maggie Sturdivant (Miller); her husband Zylman C. Burnett; and her siblings, Robert Sturdivant Jr. and Elsie Sturdivant.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Burnett (Mable), Bruce Burnett (Emma), Lenora Eckstein, Enola Burnett and Holly Ricchiuti; her stepsons, Ronald Burnett (Donna) and Denny Ratcliffe (Naomi); and her sister Nancy Gobble (Cecil). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
