He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Griffin and Jamus Griffin Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Kay Griffin; his children, George Carter (Shannon), Don Carter (Danielle) and Belinda Hernandez (Nelson); and his siblings, Larona Walls (Bill), Michael Griffin (Shirley), Tommy Griffin (Janet), Ricky Griffin and Tami Shahadi (Andy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
