Ivy B. Cochran Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivy B. Cochran of New Castle, Delaware, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph T. Hardy and Catherine A. Hardy (Kope); her husband Thomas A. Cochran; her siblings, John R. Hardy and Elizabeth Ann Johnson; and her grandson Paul Laird.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas H. Cochran (Diane), John W. Cochran (Marilyn), Joseph A. Cochran, Sr. (Nancy) and Ivy C. "Sissy" Laird (John, Sr.); and her grandchildren, Holly Jankiewicz (Tom), Heather Freebury (Jay), Thomas Cochran, Jr. (Julie), Cynthia Cochran Gonzalez (Raul), Jonathan Cochran, Ashley Cochran, Brian Cochran (Amanda), Joseph Cochran, Jr., John Laird, Jr. (Shannon) and Katie Kirchenbauer (Ryan). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
