He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew Lanette and Ava Rayburn Mattei. He is survived by: his wife April Lanette (Tuttle); his children, Edward "Ed" Lanette, Jr. (Lindsay), Joe Barr, Eric Lanette (Sabrina) and Alyse "Aly" Lanette; his grandchildren, Jordan, Jaden, Eddie, Rowan and Miles; and his siblings, Jack Lanetti (Janet), Robert Lanetti (Diane), Gary Lanette (Jill), Daniel Mattei (Tammy), Anthony Mattei (Karol), Andrea DeRosa (Jim), Donna Mattei D'Addario (Adam), Diane Richardson (Chris) and Anita Mattei. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
