With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna F. Barnes of New Castle, Delaware, born in Winnsboro, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Leroy Frazier, James Frazier, Robert Frazier, Bennie Frazier and Corine Ross.
She is survived by: her son Leon Barnes Jr. (Pamela); her grandchildren, Domyr Mathis, Leon Barnes, Taylor Barnes, Madison Barnes and Kenyon Barnes; her great grandchild Jayden Mathis; her sisters, Pearl Davis and Mamie Williams; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon "Niecy" Perry, Catherine Salters, Angie Caldwell and Thomas Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The job was fun-filled, and she took joy in posting on Facebook some of the rare items people would donate to the organization.
