With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty J. Robinson of New Castle, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph P. Yates Sr. and Dorothy I. Yates (Sims); and her husband Lawrence E. Robinson. Minor; her daughters, Dorothy I. Minor of New Castle, DE and Betty Jane Robinson of New Castle, DE; her grandsons, Leonard J. Robinson Sr. (Tomeka) of New Castle, DE and Michael E. Minor Sr. (Twanda) of New Castle, DE; her great grandchildren, Leonard Jr. of New Castle, DE, Markevis Robinson of New Castle, DE, Nayleh Martin of New Castle, DE, Felicia Brooker of New Castle, DE, Asia Brooker-Parquet of New Castle, DE, Twanda of New Castle, DE, Michael Jr. (Nayrelis) of New Castle, DE and Marquis Minor of New Castle, DE; her siblings-in-law, Sidney Kelly and Victoria M. Ward of Wilmington, DE; her cousins, Richard "Bubby" Priest of Bear, DE and Barbara Ann Alexander of Silver Spring, MD; and her friends, Marcia Blancato and Vivian Giesler. She is also survived by Eight great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar House of Wright Mortuary (208 E 35th St, Wilmington, DE 19802). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
