Welch of New Castle, Delaware, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Welch and Margaret Welch (Drosick); and his sisters, Veronica Farber and Karen Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Welch; his sons, John Hainsworth (Mary) and Kevin Welch (Kelli); and his siblings, Becky Watson, David Welch (Helen), Ellen Jones (Miles) and Sidney Welch (Teresa). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
