It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ray Davis Jr. of Milton, Delaware, born in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Davis Sr. and Edith Davis Nichols; his sisters, Bobbie Jo Shade and Judy Smith; and his nephew Scott Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Davis (Comly); his children, Robert R. Ill (Ginger), Leann of Centreville, VA, Steven (Kathy) of Avon, NC, Ray (Katie) of Milton, DE and Gregory (Jenel) of North East, MD; and his siblings, Shelby Davis-Clark of Fleming Isle, FL and William P. (Betty) of North East, MD. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
