She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Miller and Margaret E. Miller (Thomas); her husband Neil D. Essick; her son Charles Mark Essick; and her siblings, Charles Miller, Robert Miller, Jess Miller and Olive Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Jenkins of Milton, DE and Matthew Essick of Harper's Ferry, WV; her granddaughter Whittney Essick of Frederick, MD; her nieces, Eugenie Wolf, Debra Jacky and Heidi Yovich; and her nephew Richard Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Rogers-Hovatter Funeral Home (301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home (301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963).
