He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Czarnik (Kruczek) and Walter Czarnik; and his brother-in-law Walter Egnor. He is survived by: his friend Joe Hliva; his wife Diane Czarnik (Makowski); his son Adam Czarnik (Savanah Czarnik); his sister Mary Egnor (Czarnik) of Wilmington, NC; his nephew Shawn Egnor of Syracuse, NY; his nieces, Susan Eddy (David Eddy) of Wilmington, NC and Katie Canady (William Canady) of Wallace, NC; his brother-in-law Mark Makowski of Groton, CT; and his niece Jessica Makowski.
