We bid farewell to Joan H. Economos of Milton, Delaware, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Smith and Harry Smith; her husband Peter A. Economos; her son Leon; her grandson Peter; and her siblings, Charles Smith, Thomas Smith and Betty Kozur.
She is survived by: her sister Carol Williams; and her children, Peter, Duane (Dorinda), Gregory (JoAnn), Kimberly Kirker (Robert) and Stacia Wilson (Philip). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Orthodox Church (33384 Mackenzie Way, Lewes, DE 19958). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Andrew the Apostle Orthodox Church (33384 Mackenzie Way, Lewes, DE 19958). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Conley's Methodist Cemetery (22150 Robinsonville Rd, Lewes, DE 19958).
