He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Earl Edwards Sr. of Independence, VA and Mildred Godfrey Edwards of Wilmington, DE.; and his siblings, Doris Woolsey, Virginia Defibaugh, Kathleen Edwards and Kenneth Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Harrington Edwards; his children, Heather Edwards (Gary) of Fairfax, VA and Ryan Edwards (Nicole) of Centreville, VA; his grandchildren, Garrison, Colson and Emerson; and his siblings, Carolyn Halfen, David Edwards, William Edwards and Denise Hall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
