George C. Sarkis Obituary

The passing of George C. Sarkis of Millville, Delaware leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Theresa Torchia and George Joseph Sarkis; and his daughter Melissa "Missy" Lynn Kirby (Matt). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Theresa Sarkis; his daughters, Stephanie Anne Hickey (Dan) and Jessica Catherine Sarkis (Justin Congleton); his grandchildren, Colette Savena Christine Kirby, Kingston George Kirby, Maeve Savena Hickey, Leo William Hickey, Malcolm George Hickey and Lewis James Congleton; and his sisters, Deanna Maffei of Raleigh and Judy Contos of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (691 Garfield Pkwy, Bethany Beach, DE 19930). A requiem service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
