He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene A. Harris and Charlotte Harris (Nielson); his son Jason Harris; and his siblings, Eugene Harris and Charlotte Leise.
He is survived by: his wife Mary T. Harris; his stepchildren, Kenneth Hettwer (Kimberly) of New York, Mary Ann Maxwell (Joseph) of New York, Kathryn Stack (Brian) of New York and Michael Hettwer (Stephanie) of New York; and his grandchildren, Jessica Hettwer, Kelly Maxwell, Kevin Hettwer, Kristen Maxwell, Kaelin Stack, Conor Stack, Luke Hettwer, Josh Hettwer and Mikey Hettwer.
