He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughters, Jaime Porter (William) and Lauren Gasher (Rich); his stepson Mark Fabian (Rachel); his grandchildren, Brooklynn, Ethan, Lincoln Gasher and Aliyah Fabian; his sisters, Sara (Sally), Scannell (Jim), Margaret (Meg) and Lachmann (Bob); his nieces and nephews, Michael (Katie), Thomas, Caralyn Ohno, Patrick, Elizabeth Scannell, Matthew Swart (Kassadi) and Lily Lachmann (Eloise); his close friend Paul Piastro (Linda); and also Cheryl Ohno (Cheree).
Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium-Atkins-Lodge Chapel (16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Orthodox Church (33384 Mackenzie Way, Lewes, DE 19958).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's memory to Sunday Breakfast Mission or Food Bank of Delaware. Bill was passionate about making donations to these organizations.
