He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Elwyn "Doc" Arthur Hughes and Eleanor Nennette Hughes (Beck). He is survived by: his sister Beth Ann Holey (Ronald); and his cousins, Cathy Rico (Beck), Carol Harvey (Gerald) and Alan Beck. He is also survived by niece and two nephews.
