With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Palmer (Millsboro, Delaware), born in Eufaula, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Shep Irby and Inell Irby (Vickers); her husband John C. Palmer; her son Clinton Palmer of Seaford; her siblings, Roger Irby, Daisy Irby and Allie Irby Bacon; her nephews, Patrick and Myron Irby; and her niece Joy Bacon of New York.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn McAllister (Patrick) of Monroe, John Palmer (Linda) of Toledo and Thakery Palmer (Kia Burke) of Seaford, DE; and her extended family, Linda, Erin, Heidi Irby, Lisa H, Jamasine, Anita and Buc. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, special friends.
