With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Leonard Ponton (Millsboro, Delaware), born in Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond S. Ponto and Marion B. Ponto (Soulia); his wife Jane Marie Ponton (Trilling); his daughter Margaret "Peggy" Wright (Leskavich); and his siblings, Arthur, Maurice, David, Harold, Raymond Jr., Marie, Theresa, Aline and Mildred.
He is survived by: his son Richard J. (Eileen); and his siblings, Robert Ponto, Arnold Ponto, Mary McDevitt, Barbara Lamke and Margaret Singleton.
