She was predeceased by: her father James Bentham Varley; and her stepfather William Kellam. She is survived by: her mother Kaye Evelyn Huxtable (Huxtable); her husband Garney "Jay" Watts; her siblings, Morgan Varley and Megan Varley; her stepsisters, Sharon Quinn and Susan Broussard; her nephews, Tim Miller and Noah Varley; her niece Savannah Quinn; and her great-nephew Cole Miller.
