She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Evans and Elizabeth Evans (Outten); her husband Robert L. Thompson Sr.; and her siblings, Joe Evans, Oscar Evans, Jr., Nancy Taylor and Patsy Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Violet A. Marshall (Alfred) of Millsboro, DE, Donna L. Burke (Robert) of Lewes, DE and Robert Thompson Jr. (Maria) of Millsboro, DE; her siblings, Jack Evans (Kitty) of Annapolis, MD and Jacqueline Evans of Glen Burnie, MD; and her grandchildren, Wendy, Cindy, Millie, Joseph, Robert, Christopher, Willy, Dana, Cesar and Bobby. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
