It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malissa Ann Dorsey of Millsboro, Delaware, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dorsey and Maggie Dorsey (Godwin); her children, Kevin, Sylvester, Terry, Jeanette and Cynthia; and her siblings, Bill, Chester, Carlton, Alfred, Alice, Geraldine and Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Alex (Linda), Glendora (Oscar), Robert, Gregory, Kendall, Juanita (Kim), Calvin, Timothy, Linda and Gary (Catina); her siblings, Phyllis Lewis, Levola Hopkins, Regina Taylor, Stephanie Dukes (Rozelle), Apostle Ivory Hopkins (Evelyn) and Nathaniel Hopkins; her sister-in-law Ruth Dorsey; and her nieces, Connie Wise and Carolyn Watson. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. John 2nd Baptist Church (26602 Mt Joy Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
