She is survived by: her son Michael Purnell of Millsboro, DE; her siblings, James Purnell (George Anna) of Frankford, DE, Wilbert Pitts of Berlin, MD and Margot Tingle Wise (Robert) of Wilmington, DE; her uncle Robert Purnell of Berlin, MD; and her aunts, Kathleen Purnell of Millsboro, DE and Naomi Westcott of Frankford, DE. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
