With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Gene Howard Sr. (Millsboro, Delaware), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Clifford Howard and Louise Frey Howard; his wife Nina Lee Howard; his son Louis Howard; and his siblings, Norwood Howard, Edward Howard and Thelma Daffin.
He is survived by: his son Leon G. Howard, Jr. (Dawn) of Gumboro, DE; his brother Shirley "Shorty" Howard of Baltimore; and his grandchildren, Andrew S. Howard (Brooke) and Sarah Ankrom (Jordan). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
