She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bill Brannigan, Gertrude Woods and Jeanne Chulbicki. She is survived by: her husband William Joseph McLaughlin; her daughters, Kelly Osmond Kensinger (Jerry) of Stuart, FL and Kimberly Osmond-Tomosky (Chris) of Endicott, NY; her grandson Noah Sassman of Tallahassee, FL; her sister-in-law Virginia Watts-Smith (Ralph); and her brothers, Thomas Brannigan and Eugene (Nancy Brannigan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Laurena's name to the Beebe Medical Foundation c/o Beebe Hospital Intensive Care Unit, 902 Savannah Rd., Lewes, DE 19958 where Laurena was treated with kindness, care and compassion.
