She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert Tankard; her daughter Tanya Allen (Kent) of Middletown, DE; her sisters, Jane Showell of Milton, DE and Delema Lott of Lewes, DE; her stepdaughter Brenda Person of Deerfield, FL; her adoptive daughter Barbara JoAnn Rivers of Middletown, DE; her brothers, Charles, Gregory, George, Timothy, James Long and Kemp Brittingham; her uncles, Louis Riley (Lonnie) of Dagsboro, DE and James Ball (Tilly) of Philadelphia, PA; her aunt Elizabeth Ball of Lewes, DE; her nieces and nephews, Brian Showell of Newark, DE, Barry Lott of Newark, DE, Charlotte Lott of Newark, DE and Debra Showell of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her cousin Sylvia Collick Brown; and her close friends, Helen Miller and Edna Ingram. She was also cherished by great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
