He is survived by: his children, Maureen Stargel (Ray) of Bowie, MD, Trish Colein of Accokeek, MD and Kathleen Seward of Painter, VA; his siblings, William Ward (Joanne) of Fredericksburg, VA, Paul Ward and Kathleen Collins; and his grandchildren, Rachel Ritchie (Josiah), Tabitha Zug (Jason), Candace Crawford (Mark), Joseph Colein, Jessica Colein, Sarah Beverly (D'Warren), John Colein (Becca), Raymond Stargel Jr., Michael Stargel (Erin), Diane Stargel, Amber Seward and Reese Seward, Jr.. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
