With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Reese Dorey of Millsboro, Delaware, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dorey and Ruth Dorey (Bowden); his wife Esther Dorey (Ellers); and his siblings, Ralph Dorey, Lee Dorey and Hazel Baker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Mihalik (Richard) of Georgetown, DE, Jane Lane (Tom) of Magnolia, DE, Sandra Doughty (Keith) of Georgetown and Lesia Jones (Dean) of Georgetown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made in Reese Dorey's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
